Primitive Ornies - Northern Recipe gone Southern

I love homemade items.  Candles, ornaments, and needful things are my delight.  Here is a simple and fun recipe for making ornies.  You can poke a hole and add a ribbon.  You can paint them and put them in a bowl with potpurri and candles.  Either way, they are delightful.

2 cups flour, 1 cup salt, 1 cup water (1/2 tsp cinnamon and 1/2 tsp cloves are optional)

mix well and form your shapes by hand or with a cookie cutter
and place on cookie sheet (poke your hole if its a hanging item)

....bake for 1 1/2 hours in a 325 degree oven.

let cool.  then add ribbon or paint.
